SAFEFOLIO WALLET TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. INTRODUCTION
SafeFolio Wallet ("Wallet"), launched in 2025, is a fully decentralized, non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet supporting over 80 blockchain networks. It enables users to manage, store, and transact digital assets securely. By accessing or using SafeFolio Wallet (available at SafeFolioWallet.com or through our mobile application), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, you must immediately cease using the Wallet.
2. DEFINITIONS
For clarity, the following terms are defined as:
- WALLET: The SafeFolio Wallet software (web, mobile, or other platforms) used for managing digital assets.
- USER: Any individual or entity that creates and uses a Wallet.
- BLOCKCHAIN NETWORK: Any of the supported blockchain platforms enabling transactions and asset management.
- ASSETS: Cryptocurrencies, tokens, or other digital assets supported by the Wallet.
- SEED PHRASE: A cryptographic key generated during Wallet creation, which users must securely store to access their Assets.
3. USER ACCOUNT AND ACCESS
3.1 WALLET CREATION
To use the Wallet, you must create a wallet by generating a unique seed phrase through the Wallet interface. SafeFolio does not collect or store personal information such as names, email addresses, or identification details, ensuring full decentralization.
3.2 USER RESPONSIBILITIES
As a non-custodial wallet, SafeFolio does not store or control your seed phrase, private keys, or other access credentials. You are solely responsible for:
- Writing down and securely backing up your seed phrase during Wallet creation.
- Safeguarding your seed phrase, private keys, and any access tools.
- Ensuring the security of devices used to access the Wallet.
IMPORTANT: SafeFolio cannot recover lost seed phrases or private keys. Loss of these credentials will result in permanent loss of access to your Assets.
3.3 ACCOUNT SECURITY
You must take all necessary precautions to prevent unauthorized access to your Wallet. SafeFolio is not responsible for losses due to compromised devices, phishing, or failure to secure your seed phrase.
4. USE OF THE WALLET
4.1 PERMITTED USES
The Wallet may be used to manage, store, and transact supported digital assets in compliance with applicable local, national, and international laws.
4.2 PROHIBITED USES
You agree not to use the Wallet for any unlawful or prohibited activities, including but not limited to:
- Money laundering, terrorist financing, or other illegal financial activities.
- Engaging in activities that disrupt, damage, or impair the Wallet’s functionality or security.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Wallet or other users’ wallets.
- Violating intellectual property rights or applicable laws.
4.3 COMPLIANCE
You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Wallet complies with all applicable laws, including tax and regulatory obligations in your jurisdiction.
5. RISKS
Using the Wallet and engaging with cryptocurrencies involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- MARKET RISK: Cryptocurrency prices are highly volatile, and the value of Assets may fluctuate significantly, potentially resulting in financial loss.
- SECURITY RISK: Despite robust security measures, hacking, phishing, or other cyberattacks may compromise your Assets or Wallet access.
- REGULATORY RISK: Changes in laws or regulations may impact the Wallet’s functionality or the legality of certain Assets or transactions.
- USER ERROR: Loss of your seed phrase or private keys, or failure to secure your device, may result in permanent loss of Assets.
- TECHNICAL RISK: Blockchain network failures, software bugs, or connectivity issues may affect Wallet performance.
SafeFolio is not responsible for losses arising from these or other risks associated with cryptocurrency use.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content, trademarks, logos, designs, and software related to the Wallet are the property of SafeFolio or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any such materials without prior written permission from SafeFolio, except as permitted for personal, non-commercial use of the Wallet.
7. PRIVACY
As a fully decentralized platform, SafeFolio does not collect, store, or process personal information. No user data, including seed phrases or private keys, is stored on our servers. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your Wallet credentials. For additional details, refer to our Privacy Statement at SafeFolioWallet.com/PrivacyPolicy.
8. AMENDMENTS TO THE TERMS
SafeFolio may update these Terms at any time to reflect changes in laws, regulations, or Wallet functionality. Updates will be posted on SafeFolioWallet.com, and significant changes may be communicated via in-app notifications. Continued use of the Wallet after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SafeFolio, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, or agents will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use of or inability to use the Wallet.
- Loss of Assets due to lost seed phrases, private keys, or unauthorized access.
- Loss of data, Assets, or profits.
- Blockchain network failures, delays, or third-party service interruptions.
The Wallet is provided on an "as-is and "as-available basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
11. MISCELLANEOUS
11.1 SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
11.2 NO WAIVER
Failure by SafeFolio to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other rights.
11.3 ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and SafeFolio regarding the Wallet.
11.4 FORCE MAJEURE
SafeFolio is not liable for delays or failures in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, cyberattacks, or regulatory changes.
